Frequently asked questions

What can the tool do?
Line up videos and images, trim, split and reorder them; transitions between clips, a fade at the start and the end; titles with typeface, colour and animation; a logo or signature over the picture; colour correction and motion per clip; music from your own sound files or the microphone. The format is 16:9, 1:1 or 9:16, the output an MP4 in 1080p.
What happens to my data?
Nothing leaves the browser. Cutting, mixing and encoding happen on your device; no video is uploaded or stored. Only microphone recordings stay in your browser’s storage (IndexedDB) so you can reuse them — and can be deleted there with one click. Reloading the page discards the edit: export the MP4 before you leave.
Which files can I use?
Videos as MP4, MOV or WebM, images as JPG, PNG or WebP, sound as MP3, M4A or WAV. A still image stays for three seconds and gets a gentle push-in; the length can be changed per image. Up to twelve clips fit on the track.
Why does it not work in my browser?
The tool uses the video interface of modern browsers (WebCodecs). It exists in Chrome, Edge and Safari, and on a computer also in Firefox 130 or later. If it is missing, the page says so right above the drop area — then switching to Chrome or Safari helps. Rendering the film takes about as long as the film itself; please stay on the page meanwhile.
