Frequently asked questions

How do I add the signature in Gmail?
Choose “Copy signature”, then in Gmail: gear icon → See all settings → General → Signature → Create new, give it a name and paste into the text box (Ctrl+V, on a Mac ⌘+V). At the very bottom, “Save changes”.
And in Outlook or Apple Mail?
New Outlook and Outlook on the web: Settings → Accounts → Signatures → New signature, paste, save. Classic Outlook: File → Options → Mail → Signatures → New. Apple Mail: Mail → Settings → Signatures → +, turn off “Always match my default message font”, then paste — otherwise colours and fonts are lost.
Which details belong in a business email?
In Austria, companies registered in the commercial register state their name, legal form, registered office, registration number and registration court under § 14 UGB; in Germany, § 37a HGB and § 35a GmbHG require the equivalent, for a GmbH including the managing directors. The fields under “Company & required details” take these details. Which apply to your company, your chamber of commerce can tell you.
Why does the logo need a web address?
Many mailboxes block an embedded image or turn it into an attachment. A logo on your website (an address starting with https://) shows in every mailbox — and the signature stays small.
What happens to my data?
Nothing. The signature is made in your browser; your details are not uploaded and not stored. Your browser loads the logo straight from the address you enter.
